What is ready

This page lists, in one place, every part of NChartPro that is finished and in daily use — with one line on what each one does.

What

What this page is

NChartPro is used every trading day. Every area listed below is built and working. Pages under the Experimental menu work too; they carry that label because their results are still being tested over more market history.

Market data comes from the MDP (Market Data Provider) API by Source Code Pvt. Ltd., under a paid contract. It gives live prices about every 15 seconds, the NEPSE and sector indices, and the floor sheet. A second feed is kept as a backup and is used only when the main feed is late. Only one record is kept for each moment.

After the close, the whole day’s floor sheet is downloaded again and the minute candles are rebuilt from it. Trades under 10 shares are left out, as in the exchange’s own figures. Every reply from the feed is stored as it came, day by day, so any day can be checked again later.

Data

Daily data check

Every evening, for each stock, we check that the day candle, the minute candles and the floor sheet agree with each other. Stocks that do not agree are listed here until they are fixed.

Why

Why it helps you

If you trade
Days to weeks · you care about timing and the crowd.
  • The chart, the marks, the floor-sheet filters, the screener and alerts are finished and in daily use. You can rely on them working, but not on any of them predicting the price.
  • Trading Horizon tests your own buy and sell rules on one stock’s daily history. By default a signal fills at the next day’s open with slippage, the real NEPSE broker commission, SEBON fee, DP charge and capital gains tax, and nothing sells before T+2. You can test on data the rule was not tuned on, sweep its numbers and walk it forward. It buys only (no short selling) and holds one position at a time.
  • No signal on this site has a published win rate across the whole market yet. Treat every mark and screen as a place to look, not a reason to buy.
If you invest
Months to years · you care about quality and price paid.
  • Fundamental figures come from what companies filed. A few fields — quick ratio, interest coverage, net interest margin, some growth figures and net asset value per share — are left blank on purpose. They are not in the filings we hold, and we do not estimate them.
  • The chart can show prices as traded or adjusted for bonus and right shares. Adjustment is done stock by stock by our team. It is not yet automatic for every new bonus or right share, so check an old gap against the company’s corporate actions before reading it as a fall.
When · Where

When to use it, and where to find it

  • Read it to see what the app can do before you start.
  • What’s New lists every change with its date.
How to

Try it — a short walkthrough

  1. 1
Check how fresh a number is
Look at the date line on the page and the Updated time in the bottom bar. If the Updated time has stopped during the session, reload the page.
  2. 2
    Report a wrong number
Use Help → Feedback, and name the stock, the date and the page. A wrong number is a data problem we want to fix, not something to work around.

  • No indicator, mark, screen or AI reading on this site is proven to predict prices. Nothing here is investment advice.
  • Check anything you act on against the exchange’s own published figures.
FAQ

Questions people ask

Where does the market data come from?

From the MDP (Market Data Provider) API by Source Code Pvt. Ltd., under a paid contract. The prices, indices and floor sheet start at the Nepal Stock Exchange. A backup feed fills in only when the main feed is late.

Do your signals make money?

We do not claim that. Trading Horizon lets you test a rule, ours or your own, on past NEPSE data after costs and tax, and it is marked Experimental. Past results do not promise future ones.
